EXCEPTIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP
David Apel won the ‘American Society of Perfumers Young Perfumer Award’ in 1991 and is one of the most recognizable stars in the industry. He also created Hall of Fame perfume Black Orchid for Tom Ford.
We wanted David for our debut collection. So, we gave him total creative control, an unlimited budget, and a promise not to tamper with his work.
The result is OR/2018. Selected by Refinery29 as one of ‘The 10 Best Niche Perfumes To Discover Before Anyone Else’.

EXTRAORDINARY INGREDIENTS
Catherine Selig didn’t hold back when we removed the shackles of budget, and used an ingredient more expensive than gold.
There is a secret to making this ingredient. Picture a dark and chilly early morning in Grasse, as the French farmers harvest a special rose before sunrise. They handpick the tender petals while the fresh morning dew still clings to them, following a tradition that has run in their families for generations. And just as ancient is the artisanal process they use to manually extract the oil from the petals. It takes 1 ton of these rose petals – enough to fill a barn – to make only 1kg of the rose you have in WF/2020.

The entire collection is gender-neutral.
Our perfumes don't contain parabens, phthalates, dyes, or animal products.
Our brand is 100% plastic-free. The packaging is made in the US using zero-petroleum based materials. It decomposes quickly and safely without leaving solvent residue or micro-plastics.
Our caps are manufactured in France in a cradle-to-grave sustainable process. They are made from a plant-based resin and are not derived from petroleum.
